About Stephen
Adults seeking a safe space to sing often find their voice later in life after setting aside those dreams for many years. You deserve a patient instructor who understands the specific hurdles of starting this journey during your 30s, 40s, or 50s.
I earned my MM Vocal Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College to ensure I could provide a shame-free environment for every student. My 13 years of industry work taught me that music is for everyone regardless of when you begin. Studying with me means we focus on rhythm, phrasing, diction, articulation, and genre styling.
Whether you want to conquer stage fear, master vibrato, or refine your breathing, I have the tools to help you succeed. I personally find so much joy in seeing a student finally stand tall and sing with true confidence.

Starting off, we simply sit down to chat about the songs you love while warming up your vocal cords. It feels less like a formal class and more like a collaboration between two people who appreciate good music. I integrate my 13 years of industry background to help you navigate belting technique or simple pitch control. My MM Vocal Pedagogy training keeps our work technically sound and physically healthy.
Practice at home stays consistent because I provide recorded warm-up routines for your daily use. These files bridge the gap between our scheduled time together and your own progress. You keep these files forever to guide your independent work and growth during the week. This support structure makes the process feel much more manageable as we go.
