About Mila
I am Mila, a bilingual opera singer currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. Originally from Germany, I grew up in a bilingual household, speaking English at home with my family whilst learning German at school and with friends. Growing up in a musical household, I started singing with the children's opera chorus at the Hamburger Staatsoper when I was 7 and performed in numerous main-stage productions before coming to the UK. During my undergraduate I worked as a German Teaching Assistant, supporting students aged 11-18 by tailoring the lessons to the individuals needs, preparing them for exams, including GCSEs and A-Levels.
I believe strongly in creating a supportive and inspirational working environment in which students can reach their full potential.

I believe strongly in a comforting, reassuring and friendly teaching environment, as singing is very personal and must be encouraged and nurtured. German can be rather confusing and requires patience and adaptable teaching styles in order to allow each student to flourish.
Lessons are available from 30/45 minutes to an hour and are tailored to the individual student.
Under the tutelage of my pedagogy mentors, I have broadened my knowledge as a singing teacher whilst also being a German Teaching Assistant at a prestigious private school during my Undergraduate.
I am happy to teach students at any level and age and will tailor my lessons according to their needs.
