About Leo
13 years spent across performance and vocal instruction have shaped my approach to teaching singing to students of all levels. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of Auckland, which informs how I address vocal range extension, genre styling, stage fear management, microphone technique, tone, resonance, and head or chest voice. Helping someone find their unique sound remains my favorite part of this job.
Clear goals define my practice sessions because I value purposeful progress. Watching a student move from initial notes to a confident performance provides the most rewarding feedback I could ask for.

You will find that our time together focuses on solid foundations that support your growth across pop, classical, or musical theatre styles. My BFA from the University of Auckland helps me guide you through NCEA levels 1 to 3 and University Entrance requirements with ease.
8 years of specific curriculum experience ensures we cover the necessary technical ground efficiently. We explore vocal mechanics, performance anxiety, and stylistic nuances during our 60 minute blocks.
