About Tshegofatso

I have worked with Goldfields TVET College as a skill development facilitator. That’s where I developed more interest in teaching and also gained skills that made me a better teacher. From when students understand a difficult concept to helping students learn a new skill, seeing a student’s eyes light up after grasping a new piece of knowledge is priceless. As a teacher, I believe in using different methodologies that will help the students understand the lesson better. For example, setting goals and helping students stick to them, using technology to my advantage, and also bringing fun into the platform.

About the lesson

As a teacher I believes that Students look to teachers for approval and positive reinforcement, and are more likely to be enthusiastic about learning if they feel their work is recognized and valued therefore my lessons will include the involvement of each and every student in the learning process. Expert use of questioning which probes understanding and teases out misconceptions. Challenging and imaginative tasks which will engage students and support the learning process.I will encourage open communication and free thinking with my students to make them feel important.
