About Irene

Hello! I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan. I have lived in the UK for four years, a journey that began with my Master's degree in Arts and Cultural Management at King's College London. This experience has not only equipped me with fluent English but also given me a profound understanding of what it takes to immerse oneself in a foreign language environment.

I have relevant experience in language guidance, including helping children of family and friends build their everyday Mandarin vocabulary. Furthermore, my active participation in English-Mandarin language exchanges has provided me with valuable insights into how non-native speakers think when learning Chinese.

Personally, I am attentive, empathetic, and naturally curious. I firmly believe the best way to learn is by discussing topics you are genuinely interested in. This approach will help you speak with confidence and seamlessly apply the language to your daily life.
