About Anne
I have taught 200 students how to interpret complex data sets. My career began with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from MIT.
I guide social science students, high schoolers, and career switchers through probability distributions and sampling methods. Descriptive statistics and chi-square tests are my primary focus areas.
I emphasize statistical inference during our collaborative sessions. You might wonder how a computer scientist approaches this math. My diagnostic method ensures we avoid spending time on topics you already understand. Are you ready to improve your grasp of these concepts?

Learning statistics should feel like solving a puzzle rather than memorizing dry tables. R is the primary language we use to visualize your results. I keep things direct because 6 years of experience taught me that clarity beats complexity. You will find that probability distributions are quite intuitive once we map them to real world scenarios.
High schoolers and university students often appreciate this straightforward approach. My background in computer science helps me explain data structures effectively.
I try to make the math visible through code. We can look at your specific exam requirements or project data during our time together. Does this sound like a helpful way to approach your current course material?
