About Ongezwa
Teaching has always been more than just a job for me—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love watching students go from feeling lost in a subject to confidently engaging with it, forming their own ideas, and even enjoying the process. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing that “aha” moment when things finally click. I’m passionate about Sociology and the Humanities, not just as academic fields but as ways of understanding the world. I know that these subjects can feel overwhelming at first—there’s a lot of reading, writing, and abstract thinking involved. But with the right approach, they can become some of the most eye-opening and engaging areas of study. That’s why I teach. I want to help students not only improve their academic performance but also develop a real appreciation for the subject. Whether it’s making readings more manageable, breaking down complex theories, or refining writing skills, my goal is to make learning easier, more effective, and even enjoyable. If you're looking for a tutor who understands the challenges of these subjects and knows how to help you succeed, I’d love to work with you!
