About Christie
Teaching 283 students has provided me with a wide perspective on what makes a song truly resonate with an audience. I spent 5 years writing and recording music, which allows me to offer practical advice to adult learners and independent artists.
My process focuses on turning raw inspiration into a structured piece of work. Melodic phrasing and rhyme schemes are the building blocks of every memorable chorus I help my students construct.
I guide intermediate producers and students through the complexities of theme development and genre conventions. You will learn to identify exactly what makes a song memorable by examining its core components.
Co-writing and collaboration are essential skills that I emphasize during our sessions to expand your creative reach. Concept development acts as the foundation for everything we write together. I believe in keeping the process straightforward and manageable for every writer. Making music is a habit for me.
