About Malia
I have previously volunteered as a tutor for middle schoolers and some high school students. I understand how stressful school can be, and I hope to help students lay their base foundation and build better study habits for the future. I'm extremely patient and am open to helping out in any areas I can.

The way I like to approach teaching students is by giving them practice problems and allowing them the chance to do as much as they possibly can, and then guiding them through the rest of the steps. By allowing students to display what they know, I can then assist them in solidifying the areas in which they may not be confident. This will help create better study habits in the future. I could best help students in elementary-high school STEM-based classes (Algebra, Pre-calc, AP Biology, etc.)
