I am a professional drummer/percussionist currently getting a bachelor’s in jazz studies at Elmhurst University. I have been playing drums/percussion for ten years. I recently started giving lessons and I live in the greater Chicago area for any considering taking lessons.

My teaching approach depends on the student I am working with. Some students are more serious than others in which I’d have a more traditional approach with them. On the other hand a student who is learning drums/percussion as more of a hobby I would take a less traditional approach.
