About Kassandra

Hey, I’m Kass! I’m from Massachusetts, born and raised. I’ve been teaching English online for a while now and have worked with students from all over the world—helping them speak more comfortably and naturally through real conversations. I’m all about keeping things low-pressure and friendly. I know how stressful it can be trying to speak a second language, especially when your brain knows what it wants to say but your mouth isn’t keeping up (been there!). That’s why I focus more on talking than textbook rules. My goal is to make learning feel like chatting with a friend—because that’s honestly what I enjoy most. I also speak Spanish, and I’ve helped students improve their English for work, travel, small talk, or just because they want to stop feeling stuck mid-sentence. Outside of lessons, I spend most of my time with my wife and our little crew of pets—two dogs (Snoopy and Chumchum), a cat named Max who thinks he runs the house, and even a betta fish named Haku. I’m into anime, gaming, travel, and deep convos about pretty much anything. If you’re looking for a tutor who keeps it casual, cares about your growth, and genuinely enjoys helping people—I'd love to meet you.

About the lesson

My lessons are super chill and conversation-based—more like talking with a friend who’s got your back when you get stuck. I don’t believe in stiff, formal classes or boring grammar drills. Instead, we talk about real things you’re actually interested in—like your daily life, work stuff, travel, movies, food, or whatever’s on your mind that day. As we talk, I’ll help you: fix pronunciation in a natural way, learn new vocabulary without memorizing flashcards, build better sentences just by using them, and feel more confident expressing yourself. You don’t need to prep or stress—just show up and talk. I’ll guide you, support you, and explain things in a way that makes sense. My goal is to help you speak more smoothly and comfortably, without overthinking every word. If that sounds like your style, let’s get started!
