About Christine

Chrissy (Haldeman) Hokenson ‘93 is a 4-time Racine all-county cross country selection, the 1993 All Racine County Girls Track Athlete of the Year, and WIAA All State honoree. She currently holds the record in the 3,200-meter race for the Southern Lakes Conference meet and Waterford High School. Along with her teammates Laura Grabowski ‘91, Kristin Brown ‘92, Joni Calhoun, Kathy Klemko, Cherisse Ulrich ’93 and Coach Craig Kosut; she helped buoy her team to two consecutive WIAA State Cross Country Meets.

Chrissy is a 4-year D1 University Track and Cross Country letter earner at the University of Tulsa (BA 1998) where she received a partial athletic-academic scholarship. Coached by Stanley Redwine, head coach Team USA Track and Field Paris Olympics 2024, she was a member of TU’s school record-setting 3,200 Meter Relay Team. She currently works with students as a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant and lives with her husband David and her two sons in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
