I will create a study plans tailored to individual student needs, focuses, and time constraints.
For example:
Literacy needs= we set SMART goals together bases on the 'Literacy Progressions' and I create a learning plan, and then a sequence of lessons to achieve those goals.
Year 12 English Exam Prep= we talk about your strengths and weaknesses and I create a learning plan, and then a sequence of lessons to help you nail your responses, essays and creative writing.
Typical lessons go for an hour but I am flexible. I use the Berry Street Model as a frame work for my teaching practice which engages learners and looks after their well being to ensure learning time is rich.
I can also assist students with day to day homework and assessments by breaking them down into smaller steps and ensuring thy hit all necessary marking criteria.
