Kristen is amazing; she is so so knowledgeable with a deep understanding of complex learners and an ability to break complex skills into concrete, multisensory, accessible steps. Kristen dove right in, making materials, fine-tuning her approach as they went, and structuring her sessions with breaks and rewards that kept Susie happy and productive for a full hour. I observed a few of these and Susie was so engaged and excited; she was so proud of herself. By the end of the summer she had made remarkable progress. Kristen brought us hope when we were floundering, and I feel so lucky to have worked with her.
