About Sarah

I have been practising yoga for over 10 years, tried its various styles, made many mistakes and on the way understood what yoga really is about. In November 2023 I became a certified yoga teacher in Hatha and Vinyasa at 200h and shortly thereafter I completed a shorter education in Yin Yoga 30h. Since then I have further participated in workshops and retreats to develop my understanding and be able to guide better. I have led classes part-time both online and in person for about 1.5 years.

About the lesson

Yoga sessions with me can be anything from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what you as a client want and need.

In my hatha yoga classes, we lead with the breath to bring the body into positions where balance in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body is found. Pranayama (breathing exercises) is usually part of these sessions.

In my Yin Yoga sessions, we work on deep stretching of the body by relaxing into a pose without using our muscles but instead, staying in the pose for a long time, letting gravity help us go deeper. Sometimes we use props including blocks, pillows and blankets to support deeper relaxation and stretching.

My yoga guidance is primarily for those curious about the whole aspect of yoga in the form of meditation, pranayama, and Asana (poses) for a more harmonious life in union and balance.
