About Andrew

I am a specialist tutor with a strong academic record — Graduating with honours from the UQ School of Law in 2023. Drawing from several years of experience working with large groups, private bookings and after-school college classrooms — I provide a unique service to my clients helping them to holistically improve their academic outlook. I approach each student as an individual with their own unique strengths, weaknesses, learning styles and interests. I adjust accordingly to my clients needs, seeking to provide the best service for each individual. I believe that education is best valued and appreciated by students when they find purpose and enjoyment in their activities. For this reason, I seek to make every subject as engaging and enjoyable as possible, and attempt to demonstrate real world application to whatever we are studying.

About the lesson

From high achievers looking for an academic edge, to students struggling with their grades and frustrated with school — I work with a wide range of university, primary and secondary students. I am particularly passionate about helping students struggling to learn effectively in their classroom environment and have broad experience assisting students with a number of learning disorders ranging from mild to severe.

In addition to providing holistic academic support to students from years 2-12, I tutor International Baccalaureate subjects (IB) and specialise in preparing primary and secondary students for external assessments, scholarship applications and selective school entrance exams including: NAPLAN, American SAT, and HAST /entry to Brisbane State High School.

Andrew has a very good rapport with my son, and has suceeded in keeping my son interested and engaged in preparing assessments, revising for exams, and improving my son's study skills.
