About Jane
I like to make students feel at ease. Typically math and science can be very intimidating and it doesn't need to be that way. I cut out the jargon that is intimidating and will explain the learning topic in multiple ways until I know the student understands. It is easy and fun to see that light bulb go on.

Originally I wanted to be a dentist. I got into four major dental schools and got A's in most of my pre-med courses. In my early twenties I was diagnosed with Lyme disease making it difficult for me to pursue the rigorous course load in professional school. I currently teach high school Science and have tutored students privately since I was 14 years old. My lessons are direct and simple leaving students feeling confident. Many of my past clients are now very successful adults and were able to move forward in their vocations.
