About Carl

The feeling when your kid finally gets it. When anxiety turns into confidence. That's what I do.

Mechanical engineer. 10+ years tutoring. I've worked with hundreds of students, and I know exactly what separates the ones who pass from the ones who fail: understanding, not memorization.

Most tutors teach concepts. I teach your child how to think about math.

On Sec 4:

I've prepped enough students for the Ministère exam to see every trick it throws. Your child won't face anything they haven't practiced. That confidence on exam day? That comes from preparation.

I work with the students I know I can help. First lesson free—let's see if it clicks.

MY TEACHING METHODOLOGY:

The Problem With Most Tutoring:
Students get tutored, nod along, understand in the moment—then forget it all by next week. Why? Because tutoring without reinforcement is just temporary relief.

My Approach Is Different:

I don't just teach concepts. I build neural pathways. Every lesson is designed so your child doesn't just understand math—they own it.

How It Works:

• Diagnosis First - I identify exactly where the confusion starts. Is it foundational gaps? Exam anxiety? Specific topics? We find the root, not just the symptom.
• Concept Breakdown - I explain using real-world applications. Math isn't abstract—it's a tool. Once your child sees why it matters, it sticks.
• Active Problem-Solving - We don't passively review. Your child works through problems with me guiding, asking questions, building confidence. They do the thinking; I remove the roadblocks.
• Exam-Style Practice - If we're prepping for the Ministère exam, we work with actual past papers and exam format. No surprises on test day.
• Memory Lock-In - Before each session ends, we recap what we learned and I give targeted homework that reinforces that specific concept. By the time they see it in class again, it's familiar territory.

Why This Matters:

Your child doesn't just pass the test—they build confidence. They start enjoying math because it finally makes sense. Teachers notice the improvement. Grades climb. And here's the best part: that confidence carries forward to their next math course.

A Typical Lesson Outline:

5 min: Quick check-in. What's confusing right now? What did we nail last time?
10 min: Review the concept we're tackling (with visuals, examples, real applications)
60 min: Active problem-solving. Your child leads; I guide and question
15 min: Recap + targeted homework assignment
End: Your child leaves knowing exactly what to practice before next lesson

What Makes The Difference:

The mentorship dynamic. Your child isn't afraid to ask questions. They're not stressed about looking stupid. We're partners in this. That trust? It's what unlocks real learning.

  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I started to develop an interest in my chosen field back when I was in school, where my two favorite subjects were Maths and Physics. I was never worried when having an exam concerning these subjects because I've always been genuinely interested and passionate when solving Maths and Physics problems. These might not be the favorite subjects for most students, but once understood and taught well, you will become way curious to acquire more knowledge.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

Ever since I chose my field of study, mechanical engineering, my passion grew for these two topics in my area of study.
My experience during the last few years authorized me to share my knowledge with students and enhance their interests in these subjects as well as understand and face each obstacle
that holds them back from succeeding.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

The only thing that has encouraged me to start tutoring is my ability to cooperate and get along with all kinds of students, no matter their culture, their age, their understanding capacity, or the language they speak. I am able to communicate fluently in English, French, and Arabic, which makes me suitable to convey every idea clearly to my students.
Since I've been tutoring for 5 years at least, I improved my communication skills and my interaction with students which makes me a very friendly and flexible tutor.
  • Do you have any role models; or a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

Honestly, my role model is the author of the first book I read in my life, Rich Dad Poor Dad. His name is Robert Kiyosaki, one of the most successful men of the last few decades. His books teach you how to understand the business world, how money works, and all the shortcuts and long-term improvements to success. His books literally changed the way I respond to my daily challenges, and how I plan for a better road to follow my endeavors.
  • What are your keys to success?

My keys to success are every ambitious man's qualities. Dreaming big, being proactive, planning each step, being patient, sharpening my skills, and accepting failure. All of these qualities should be in a man in order to be successful, but only one is ultimately crucial: CONSISTENCY. Working hard without consistency is absolutely useless. Trusting the process, learning from mistakes, and chasing dreams will make you unstoppable.
