About Achyuth

I am a final year student at BITS Goa, one of the top engineering institutes in India pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication. I also secured a state rank of 11 for the state of Karnataka in the 12th board exams, with an overall percentage of 97.67%. Teaching has been my passion for a long time and I have always made it a point to grab any such opportunities and help students out. I am also a part of the Nirmaan Goa chapter, a student-run NGO where I teach 4th standard kids for an exam called JNV, wherein if they qualify, are provided with free education and living by the Government of India. Two of my students qualified last year for which I am extremely happy and proud. My goal now is to teach and help more students as I have been through the process too and help to achieve their career goals, which I am committed to do.

About the lesson

My teaching consists of a lot of understanding of the theory, followed by understanding the theory with lots of examples until the student is able to relate the concepts taught in class to problems. I'll also be having a lot of doubt solving and problem-solving sessions which help students to get started on how to approach a problem, so that solving out of the box and tough problems become easy. I'll also be holding regular quizzes and assignments to assess a student's performance and give feedback based on that so that a student can improve each day and perform the best when the situation demands so!! A typical class will be devoted as such: 70% weightage to theory and 30% weightage to problem-solving in the initial stages. As time progresses, more and more weightage will be given to solving problems and improving accuracy.
