About Sofia
Hi, I’m Sofia! I am an Economics major at Princeton University, currently on a gap year between my sophomore and junior years. I am located in the Washington, DC area. I have been tutoring for around 6 years, and have tutored most high school math classes (Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus), and also done SAT prep for the math section.

My approach to tutoring is to help the student learn to utilize materials they are given to further their understanding of a topic, and eventually allow them to learn the topic themselves. I believe that all students can learn independently, with the help of a tutor initially, and then on their own eventually. My goal is to help a student get to that point.
