About Y Nam

Hello everyone!
My name is Y Nam and I am an Italian graduate in Languages and Tourism at the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice.
During the pandemic time, I also obtained a Master's in Teaching Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners, officially becoming a teacher.

I am very passionate about languages and cultures of the world: in addition to speaking Italian, Vietnamese, and English, during my academic career, I also studied German, Chinese and Korean. Thanks to this I always have in mind the difficulties that language students can have, so I am always willing to repeat some grammar rules even 100 times!

I have been studying English for more than 15 years, also obtaining numerous language certifications (IELTS 8.0, FCE, Trinity GESE 11 etc.)

I have been teaching Italian and English for the past 8 years, both in Italy and abroad.

Now I am living in Australia, so if you want to know some local slang, you are free to ask as well :)))

About the lesson

Depending on your needs I can structure my lessons in different ways: in the past, I worked with middle/high school students interested in revising or learning grammar rules and structures, with adults who wanted to practice their spoken English and pronunciation and with people who wanted to learn English from scratch.

The lessons will be very interactive, as I will try to use as much English as possible to practice your oral comprehension.

I will also try to include authentic material, to make the lessons more interesting.
