About Faizan
I'm a first-year Computer Science student at King's College London with a real passion for maths. I achieved 4 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Computer Science, a grade 9 in GCSE Maths, and a Gold award in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge.
I want to teach because I know how much the right explanation can change the way someone sees a subject. Maths is often taught as a list of rules to memorise, but once you understand why something works, it becomes much easier and far more enjoyable.
I sat these exams recently, so I remember exactly which topics students struggle with and how to tackle them. I'd love to help you reach your goals and gain confidence in maths.

My lessons are tailored to each student. In the first session, I find out which topics you find difficult and how you like to learn, then build lessons around your goals. Whether that's catching up, building confidence, or aiming for top grades.
I explain each concept step by step, starting from the basics, and check your understanding as we go rather than rushing ahead. We then work through practice and exam-style questions together, so you learn both the method and how to apply it under exam conditions.
I want every student to leave lessons feeling more confident and to actually enjoy maths.
