About Zuri

I am an experienced Singing tutor with 13 years of teaching and professional experience, working with students from school to college. My passion for education and music drives me to help every learner unlock their full vocal potential. Throughout my journey, I have trained students at different skill levels, from beginners learning basic breathing techniques to advanced learners refining performance skills.

Many of my students have successfully participated in cultural programmes and competitions, which stands as an important achievement in my career. I focus on proper vocal exercises, pitch accuracy, rhythm understanding, and voice modulation, while also helping students build stage confidence.

I believe learning music should be both disciplined and enjoyable. My mission is to inspire students to work hard, stay dedicated, and believe in the beauty of their own voice.

About the lesson

My singing teaching methodology focuses on building confidence, vocal control, and musical understanding through a flexible and compassionate approach. I believe students learn best when they feel supported, respected, and involved in their own progress.

Flexibility allows me to personalise lessons according to vocal ability and musical interest. Empathy and compassion help me support students through emotional challenges and self-doubt often connected with singing.

Clear communication ensures students understand essential techniques such as breath support, pitch accuracy, tone quality, and phrasing. Collaboration encourages students to actively participate in learning through goal-setting and regular feedback.

Along with Singing, I also teach Music Theory basics, Ear Training, Vocal Care, and Performance Confidence, helping students grow into expressive and healthy vocalists.
