I am speaking Chinese to teach Chinese. I usually encourage my students to speak the language first. There's no shortcut to pick up a language. Speaking is more important than learning Chinese characters. I will let you know how to greet, how to introduce yourself, how to buy things, and how to order food in a restaurant...etc.

She is patient. Starts where you’re at and teaches you the same way you would’ve learned your own mother tongue. Speaking Mandarin from the start and explaining as she goes. She even sends notes to you on what was discussed during class for you to reference back to for practice in between lessons. I highly recommend her as a teacher above others of the same field.
