About Aliya
I started tutoring my peers in school when I realized many of them struggled with math concepts I found easier to grasp. It began as informal study groups, where I’d explain difficult topics and help them prepare for exams. Seeing their improvement and confidence grow inspired me to expand my efforts, and I began tutoring children in my community as well. I loved sharing my knowledge and making math accessible to younger students. My experience was further enriched by working for several months at Kumon, where I developed structured lesson plans and learned effective strategies to support diverse learning styles. This journey has not only deepened my understanding of math but also reinforced my passion for helping others succeed.
