About Félicia

I am a student in a dance school in Paris, but I have a musical background, coming from a musical family, I played the violin at the conservatory, the guitar for 8 years, I was part of a group and I have some notions in ukulele and piano. I learned music theory, tablatures, but I also worked a lot by ear to refine my musical ear.

About the lesson

Having already taught guitar, I had to deal with 9/11 year old children as well as a 60 year old man as students. My pedagogy and methodology then takes into account each case and person, I ask a few questions about the time spent working (the guitar) alongside lessons, if the person learns quickly in general (children learn at a monumental speed) or even if you already have a past as a musician.
If you are a beginner I will teach you the basic notes, chords and rhythms to have a solid foundation. Little by little and according to your wishes, we will go to the arpeggios, a piece that you like to play or an accompaniment that you would like to have to sing your favorite song.
I will not teach music theory in due form quite simply because I do not feel legitimate enough to teach this discipline, and for learning the guitar, tablatures are sufficient and are very effective, but well Of course I will teach you the basics.

Precision for children who are beginners (5 years old - 11 years old), I will certainly do 45-minute lessons, it's a lot of information all at once, I've always worked like this, especially if I start to see the onset of fatigue because in this case, it is no longer a pleasure and it is better to work on the exercises again the next day! If I see that everything is going well and that the student is still plumb then I will fill the remaining 15 minutes!
