About Kayla
I have been tutoring individuals for the past four years and I have been teaching in middle school and high school math classrooms for 7 months. All of my individual tutoring students have been successful in passing their college, high school, and middle school exams. I have been complimented by my students at the high school and middle school (as a whole-class teacher) for my genuine interest in student success and my ability to answer questions in multiple ways to help students understand the concepts at hand.

I like to tailor my teaching to each student I have. If a student wants to dive deep into the big math concepts, I am happy to oblige. Or, if the student just wants to learn and practice specific procedures and go over homework assignments, I am happy to do that as well. My goal is to find a way to help my students be successful and adapt my teaching to fit their needs.
