About Siling

My name is Siling, and I am a teacher from China. I hold a Chinese teacher's qualification certificate, a Level 2 Certificate of Putonghua, and a Certificate for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Additionally, I am currently pursuing my master's degree.

Throughout my teaching career, I have been fortunate enough to gain extensive experience in the field. It has been an honor to share my knowledge and expertise with my students, and I have always strived to challenge them to achieve their full potential.

I am excited to continue growing as an educator and am confident in the skills I possess. I believe that my dedication to teaching, combined with my knowledge and experience, make me an ideal tutor for your Mandarin study.

About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques:

I believe in being flexible and customizing my teaching methods to the individual student's needs and learning style. I usually begin by assessing the student's current level of understanding of the subject area and identifying any areas of difficulty. Once I determine the student's level of proficiency, I choose appropriate teaching methods to help them achieve their goals. I use a combination of interactive and collaborative methods, such as experiential learning, simulations, and problem-based learning, to enhance the student's understanding of the material.

Typical Lesson Plan:

My typical lesson plan includes an introduction, a review of the previous session's material, interactive activities, and a summary of the lesson. I often involve my students in discussions, inter-activities, and experiments/assessments to aid their understanding of the subject area conceptually while developing their application/ execution skills.

My experience and knowledge of the subject area sets me apart as a tutor. My goal is to help my students develop practical knowledge and skills that can be applicable in the real world. I work towards making the lessons engaging, interactive, and informative, with the focus on the student's learning and progress.
