About Eugene
I am a certified math teacher and taught math for 12 years and tutored for over 15 years. Out of the 12 years taught, 4 of them were at an alternative school. I taught students who didn't like schol or who had severe gaps in their educaion where in a month or two these students that hated math, started to enjoy math and see their relevance in life. I earned tutor of the year award from my college. The math I taught ranges from algebra 1,2,geometry, precalculus, quantitative literacy, and test taking strategies to prepare students for standarized tests. I also have a B.S. in chemistry with a minor in math and physics. I even have a master's in business administration.
