Each time I teach, I will first ask the student which topic they are struggling with the most. Then, I will look at how they answer questions from that topic to identify their problems. After that, I will teach them step by step how to solve the questions, with simple explanations on why each step is needed. In addition, I will teach them easy ways to remember formulas, the steps to answer questions, and how to check their answers so they can avoid mistakes and feel confident. If the student still cannot understand, I will try different approaches or give simpler tips until they fully understand the topic. After learning a topic, I will also make sure the student answers a few questions to confirm their understanding and help them remember the topic for the long term.
