About Timothy
I have been tutoring for almost two years now and I've seen a significant improvement in all of my students' grades. I feel like I specialize in being able to present the information in a very easy-to-understand way, and I am able to explain things so that any student would not only be able to understand but apply the concepts being taught. My name is Timothy and my teaching method is very simplistic and straight forward. I utilize an interactive online classroom called 'Desmos' which allows me to create unique lessons that the student can interact with directly. Typically, I will provide an introduction to the basic ideas of the lesson, provide important terms and their definitions, then progressively get into more and more advanced applications of those ideas and terms.
What sets me apart is my sense of humor as I will include various jokes and references to enhance the lesson and make it more personal to the student. Desmos allows me to have the flexibility and freedom to make unique lessons and incorporate a more interactive learning environment which is usually quite difficult to do in an online format.
My lessons will be geared towards Elementary to Middle school level students, though any age is fine.
I will tailor the lesson to you learning needs and develop our curriculum together so you get the most out of your tutoring experience!
