About Shona
I am a qualified and experienced educator with an Engineering degree and an M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have helped students develop a stronger understanding of Mathematics and improve their confidence in solving problems.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual learning needs. I believe that every student can succeed when complex concepts are explained clearly and practiced regularly.
I take my responsibilities as a tutor seriously and aim to provide well-prepared, structured, and engaging lessons. Parents and students can expect a professional, reliable, and encouraging learning environment where questions are always welcome.
My goal is not only to help students achieve better academic results but also to develop their confidence, problem-solving skills, and independent learning abilities.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach to suit each student's individual needs and learning pace. My classes focus on building a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas or methods.
I explain topics step by step using simple examples and then gradually introduce more challenging questions. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practice regularly, and develop confidence in solving problems independently. I also provide worksheets, practice questions, and revision support when required.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, depending on the student's needs and level.
I am an Engineering Graduate with an M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems and have more than 10 years of teaching experience, including experience teaching mathematics to school students.
My lessons are suitable for school students of different ages and ability levels, including students who need extra support as well as those who want to improve their academic performance and confidence in Mathematics.
