About Dante
I'm an Academic and Test Prep Tutor based in Los Angeles. After living in New York City for several years, I've relocated to LA and am beginning to build my private tutoring practice here in the city. I've been tutoring since I graduated from Stanford University in 2014, and I've helped hundreds of students meet their goals on the SAT & ACT over that time. I'm comfortable with all test prep subjects, as well as many academic ones. I'm particularly skilled with helping students to manage testing anxiety and to learn good test-taking process. When I'm not teaching, you can find my acting and improvising in Los Angeles and playing my guitar in my bedroom.

-I begin by teaching students strategies for every question type that will appear on the exam, including vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, and essential math concepts that will appear.
-Students will then receive weekly homework assignments, including timed practice tests. We review what they missed, they fill in the gaps with extra exercises targeted at their learning needs.
-Finally, I teach students how to plan for test day and how to keep an individual sitting in perspective.
