About Norma
Writing over chords and building song structure requires a focus on MOMENTUM over perfection. I have spent 5 years producing and teaching songwriting to help home studio owners and beginners find their voice. My own path as a self-taught producer with 10 years of independent releases informs how I view music.
I enjoy working with teens and intermediate producers who want to grasp genre conventions in pop or R&B. Storytelling in songs and motif development are the main areas where I provide guidance.
You will learn to navigate the bridge and verse-chorus dynamics with ease. My approach ensures that your creative choices remain grounded in your personal taste.
Harmony basics feel much less daunting when you have someone to simplify the process. Teaching is a collaborative dialogue rather than a lecture series. You can count on a space where your unique sound is the priority. I simply act as a mirror for your existing musical ideas.
