About Omar
I'm a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in my 6th year of graduate school. I've been walking hand-in-hand with physics for almost 10 years now. My normal day consists of starting at equations, reading scientific paper, and coding our model to test their validity against data and make conclusions based on the scientific method. I have one paper submitted to a journal and another one currently in progress.

I'm aware that physics/maths is a hard subject for most but I believe that this is an outcome of the faulty teaching methods that is widely used. We all have intution for physics and mathematics and it's the teacher's job to harvest them, not simply state the physics.
The focial point of my teaching techniques is to get the student to first understand the concept in a conceptual fashion with analogies between the subject and the day-to-day life then, follow-up with the equations that physicists came up with through cereful experimentation and explain interplay of variables and how they all connect together in harmony.
Given my experience in university teaching and tutoring my own kids and family members from Elementary school to University, I'm confident in my abilities to simply physics and mathematicas to student at all stages of their learning journey.
