About Isabel
I am a 20-year-old aspiring physician currently studying a Bachelor of Premedicine, Science and Health in hopes to get into a Doctor of Medicine! I currently work as an Ophthalmic Technician and have a wide range of knowledge surrounding Ophthalmology. Being a tutor has allowed for me to consolidate my own knowledge for my degree as well as helping others in need!

My lessons run through a completely online method of learning face-to-face over zoom. This allows for flexible schedule for the student, sessions typically 1 hour with an extension to 2 if necessary. The way I best teach is to have the content wanting to be assessed beforehand so I can find additional recourses to aid in learning, this allows for a higher level of understanding on both parts. As I am a visual learner, I aim to include a visual aspect into a lesson such as drawings, whiteboards, videos/TED talks, with additional recourses being provided for the student to review in their own time alongside detailed notes handwritten by me. I have been tutoring for 3 years now for majorly year 9-12, as well as first year university students in STEM degrees.
