About Kavya

Hi, I’m Kavya, a third-year biology student at the University of Western Ontario. I grew up in Mississauga and I’ve tutored English remotely with OneProsper International, so I know how to run structured sessions and explain things clearly. I remember what it’s like to get stuck on a topic and feel like everyone else gets it, so my lessons are patient and supportive. I’ve studied science and math at a university level, which means I can explain the why behind things, not just the steps. I’m reliable, I show up prepared, and I care about helping you feel confident, not just finish the homework.

About the lesson

I’m a third-year biology student at Western, and I tutor math, science, and English for elementary through high school students. My lessons are relaxed and step by step. I start by figuring out where you’re stuck, then we work through examples together until it clicks. I don’t just hand over answers, I show you how to think through problems so you can do them on your own. A typical session starts with a quick check-in on what you’re working on, then we go through homework or tricky topics, and finish with a few practice questions. I’m patient, I explain things in plain language, and there is no such thing as a stupid question!
