About Ling

I am from China and I am currently studying for postgraduate courses in the UK. I am also working on my PhD application. Chinese is my first language. My parents had asked me to study traditional Chinese musical instrument - Guzheng. So to learn Mandarin with me, I can not only learn the language, but also experience the traditional Chinese culture and the popular culture in China. At the same time, I have a good foundation for painting. Before I came to the UK, I already had four years of work experience. At the same time, my own paintings were also included in the company's corporate culture brochure. Whenever I went to a strange place or meet new friends, I would use a brush to record everything. Therefore, the level of my painting has also been continuously improved. Although my professional background is not painting, my interest is the best teacher. When I was young, my family will attach great importance to the cultivation of this area. Therefore, I have also laid a good foundation for later painting.

About the lesson

I will combine learning Chinese with painting because learning a language can sometimes be a boring time, but when images and language are combined, the memory will be deep and the process will be interesting. At the same time, my character is also very cheerful and patient. Please don’t be shy and speak Chinese as much as possible during your study. I’ll also teach some sentences and songs that are particularly popular among Chinese young people now so that you can easily feel the Chinese atmosphere.
