About Mar

Hello! My name is Mar, and I am a visual artist from Madrid.

Since I was little I was in love with animated series, movies and video games that made me imagine and fly with my mind to other worlds. After finishing my Bachelor's degree in Design, I decided to specialize in what I really liked: Concept Art and Illustration.

My experience as a student and as an artist has taught me that art and design are disciplines that require certain methodologies, and I can help you learn and apply them in your art, whether you start from scratch or already have some knowledge.

About the lesson

In my teaching I seek to develop the fundamentals of art such as: anatomy, perspective, light, shape, color, volume...
I also like to do a personalized follow-up of the student so that he or she is aware of his or her own progress.

On the other hand, I adapt myself to the traditional technique: charcoal, watercolor, pastel, acrylic;
as well as the digital technique: matte painting, use of filters, types of brushes, shortcuts.

In case you decide to take the classes at your home, I will try to send you notes that can help you consolidate the knowledge that I have explained to you and also the chance of using my tablet in case you don't have one.

First of all, I want to convey that who we should compare ourselves with is who we were yesterday, applaud our achievements, and be free through our own artistic expression.
