About Irene
I’m a physics tutor with 6 years of experience spanning middle school science through introductory college courses. My academic training is in physics, and I’ve spent those six years translating rigorous topics into accessible frameworks.
I support coursework, lab reports, and competition prep, but I also go deeper for students who want it. We use Python simulations, Fermi estimates, and engineering case studies to link theory to practice. I’ve guided students through AP and IB assessments, college placement exams, and first-year mechanics/E&M with strong results.
My approach is precise: define the system, list knowns, choose principles, solve, then check. Over 6 years I’ve learned how to tailor that process for each learner. If you want a tutor who can handle both fundamentals and enrichment, let’s start.

These lessons are for students who want depth, speed, and mastery. Covering K-12 through first-year university physics, we emphasize analytical thinking, mathematical rigor, and exam technique.
We begin with a skills inventory: algebra, trig, vectors, and calculus readiness. Then we customize a roadmap. For high schoolers, that means AP Physics 1/2/C, IB HL/SL, or honors coursework. For college freshmen, it means mechanics, E&M, and intro modern physics aligned to your professor’s sequence.
Sessions combine derivation, simulation, and competition-style problems. You will learn to rank forces, approximate answers, and check solutions for physical plausibility. We drill high-yield problem types and develop a personal error log to eliminate repeat mistakes.
Resources include annotated formula sheets, challenge sets, and lab-report frameworks. Office-hour style Q&A is available before major tests. The aim is not just an A, but readiness for engineering, pre-med, or physics-major pathways. You will finish with sharper logic, faster problem entry, and true subject command.
