About Long
I enjoy teaching and seeing students develop in mathematics but more importantly confidence in themselves.
Part of my motivation and affinity towards mathematics is because the nature of the subject to many students, is challenging. It is a subject that requires consistency, practice and there's no short-cut. The subject in itself develops patience, resilience and persistence that young individuals often find difficult to believe in themselves. I get satisfaction when my students grow success from something they didn't previously believe they could.
I hope to teach more than just maths inside the four walls of a classroom but a wider perspective of one's potential capabilities.

I graduated from University of a Melbourne with a Bachelor of science majoring in Psychology and submajor in Mathematics, Masters of Teaching (Secondary) and Certificate of Clinical Specialist in Teaching.
My extensive years of experience in the public school system, I am aware of the Victorian maths curriculum standards and can identify areas for improvement.
I provide YouTube recorded videos for lessons and questions and design questions that cater to your learning needs.
