About António

I’m António, a Portuguese student who has lived, studied and worked in five countries. I’ve interned at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Canada, worked in governance in Brussels, and I’m currently a European Excellence Scholar at Trinity College Dublin. Over the past few years, I’ve grown enormously—going from an average student to truly excelling in my field. I really want to help younger students achieve the same transformation.

About the lesson

I adopt a structured and personalized approach to tutoring, centered on clarity, real understanding, and practical academic progress. My methodology is a mix of explanation, discussion, and guided critical thinking, helping students not only learn the material but truly understand how to apply it in essays, exams, and real-world contexts. A typical lesson is 60 minutes and combines concept review, step-by-step guidance, and tailored feedback on written work. I have studied, lived, and worked in 5 countries, completed a Political Science and International Relations degree, interned in diplomacy in Canada, worked in governance in Brussels, and I am currently a European Excellence Scholar at Trinity College Dublin. This international background allows me to teach Politics, International Relations, Geopolitics, Political Philosophy, Academic Methodology, and related fields. My lessons are suitable for high-school students (IB, A-Level, international schools), bachelor students, and master’s students who want to improve their academic performance, develop stronger analytical and writing skills, and deepen their engagement with global issues. I can also support students who are preparing applications for Bachelor’s or Master’s programs in the social sciences.

Perfect! Hi there. I found Antonio to be an excellent tutor and very helpful. Even though he is,away at the moment promoting his venture, I can stay in contact. I chose not to continue with the sesdions and have been charged for June 28th subscrition of 389 euros. I would expect to get back a full refund gor Jine. I had only tso sessions in May. I am terminating my account and payment details with you. I have not heard back from him and not receiving any follow up sessions with my tutors.

I'm Pedro, a 23 year old MSc in Finance student at Nova SBE and a former KPMG associate. When I first applied to KPMG, I reached out to António for help in preparing my CV, and his guidance played an important role in my sucessful application.

After working for two years in a Big4 firm, I've decided to pursue the MSc in Finance at Nova SBE , ranked 6th in Financial Times Ranking. Because the program is highly selective, I knew I had to submit a perfect application to maximize my chances of acceptance. Once again, I asked António for support, not only to refine my CV, but also to help me write a strong Motivation Letter, which is a key element in the admission committee's process.

As before, António's guidance throughout the entire process was exceptional.
