About Linda

I have been offering tuitions as regards several disciplines (particularly humanistics) for a couple of years and a half. My experience with students of a wide range of ages (from 8 to 19 years-old students) improved my teaching and supporting skills. I established a functional study method based on my kind of university studies and I try to deliver it to my students, by tayloring it to his/her necessity and inclination. Moreover, I spent a period of studies abroad (Germany), and this made my conception of possible learning methods broader and richer.

About the lesson

The typical lesson involves a quick review of the topic on which the student has difficulty and the practice of exercises aimed at consolidating learning, from time to time taking up content previously addressed to provide an effective overview of the program. If the student needs to experiment with several different study methods in order to fully develop their own, this will also be the subject of dialogue during the lessons. I also try to focus not only on the skills required at school, but also on transversal skills such as logical reasoning, argumentation, planning and content presentation. I offer lessons to support the study of the various subjects at high school, middle school and primary school level (at this level, I can propose playful and educational activities for after school). As far as university training is concerned, I provide support in writing the thesis and preparing the subjects included in my course of studies (clinical psychology, neuroscience, research methodology, neuroimaging).

I am willing to travel by public transport to reach students living in the areas of Settimo, Brandizzo, Volpiano, Torino, provided that the cost of the trip (for example, train tickets, tolls, fuel) is reimbursed.
I ask for a higher rate (20 euros per hour) on students who are looking for subjects in my Psychology course (for example: neuroscience, psychometrics, neuropsychology...).
