About PIERRE
I am a NYC Board of Education substitute teacher and working for a private Tutoring Company. This experience allows me to familiarize myself with the education system. Middle school is the single most important formative years in the education of a young mind. A great learning experience and excellent scores obtained in New York state tests (ELA, MATH, SCIENCE) from 4th-8th grades give a child a winning edge in the competition to be admitted to the best high schools and later, to the best colleges. Flunking Junior High School can be detrimental to a child's overall future.
I have been involved in child education for the past 10 years. I love tutoring children. I uphold my position as a tutor in high consideration because I am the bridge between my students and their aspirations and success. Working as a tutor I do my best to be patient, compassionate, empathetic, creative, and kind toward my students. Added to these, being a good communicator and knowledgeable of the curricula and subjects matter convey to my potential students and clients the seriousness and maturity I bring into the tutoring work.
