About Bethany

From a young age I was curious about story telling, whether it was novels or non-fiction I have always had an interest in English Literature and Language. My education at Rounds Green Primary School encouraged this passion to grow leading me to achieve grade 7s (A's) in English Literature and Language at the end of my GCSEs studied at Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy. This not only drove my passion for the subject but also drove my ambition to become an educator; encouraging children to expand their knowledge in the same way I did. My love for the subject has led me to begin my degree in English literature and History at the University of Birmingham in September 2022 following my A-Level studies in English Literature, Early Modern History and Law at King Edwards VI College.

About the lesson

My academic path has allowed my knowledge of English to grow, as well as allowing my knowledge of different teaching styles to expand and therefore encouraging my one-to-one teaching to be tailored to each individual. By creating a calm environment, my sessions encourage a positive space for learning.
