About Steph
I've supervised students for over four years on a casual basis. In my first year of supervising 100% of the students I worked with achieved grades A*-C in their GCSEs.
I believe that English is an exciting subject which deserves enthusiastic discussion and I approach things differently than other tutors who place a stronger emphasis on objectives than they do on the range of other things that literature has to offer. If you can tell me what interests you, I can devise a way in which we can structure our conversations in a way which will hopefully help to flesh out the narrower, objective based approaches you might be receiving (or may have previously received) in school.

I'm an English graduate from the North West currently residing in Scotland. I have a solid grounding in Gothic literature and the supernatural but have covered a broad variety of topics and genres over the course of my A-Levels, degree and postgraduate work. I am a friendly and professional individual and more than happy to talk casually about the topics that interest you the most or to devise a more structured plan in an effort to improve comparative abilities etc.
