About Daniel
Hi! I'm Daniel and I'm currently an undergraduate studying Computer Science (MEng) at the University of Warwick. I achieved top grades in my A-Levels, 3 A*s in Maths, Computer Science and Chemistry and I have also got a 7.0 in the TMUA, so I have an extensive knowledge of the GCSE and A-Level maths specifications and an ability to apply the knowledge in unfamiliar ways to solve problems.
I am also proficient in programming - I have done my A-Level Computer Science coursework in C# and done my GCSE coursework in Python. I am fluent in all the programming constructs that GCSE and A-Level require, especially object-oriented programming - and I aim to make you fluent as well so you can ace the programming part of your exam. I am also very knowledgeable in the OCR GCSE and A-level specifications so I can definitely help with that as well.

My teaching style always prioritises the reasoning behind the topic at hand - I will avoid telling you to "just memorise something" unless it is absolutely necessary. I believe that when you understand the reasoning behind a certain equation or rule, you can easily spot that this rule is needed when answering a tricky problem-solving question in the exam, and get those marks that have previously been out of reach.
I can also explain topics very clearly and simply - going at your pace and breaking down the reasoning into easy to manage chunks. I am very flexible and I will adapt to how you learn - whether that be by pictures or diagrams or words.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long but I can do any length of time that you require. They typically consist of a recap of a previous lesson at the start, a teaching block in the middle and the rest of the time will be spent going through past paper exercises with me helping when needed.
