About Veronica
I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematical Education and a Master's Degree of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) from The University of South Florida. I taught Mathematics grades 6-10 over a span of 25 years. I own an educational business where I wrote and delivered math programs into the community called The Fun Side of Math. I have written math books to help young learners recognize numbers, and better understand mathematical concepts. I also was on a writing committee of the book for infusing African-American History into Mathematics. I traveled the United States training teachers on how to teach from Pearson's edition Mathematics book.
