About Manuela
I began tutoring while I finished my Geography degree at King's College London, teaching English, Geography and Maths to students aged 5-13. English is my favorite subject, which I've successfully taught at 13+ level. Reading has always been my favorite pass-time and it's something I'd like to inspire others to do too.
I have a strong foundation in Geography, having studied it at university. I tutored several enthusiastic students at 13+ level during my degree, including group lessons.

I tailor my teaching to individual students, as everyone has their own ways of learning. For older students at 13+ or GCSE level this can be more of a structured conversation, to ensure students understand the content as well as learning how to pass their exams. Enjoying your subject is a fast track route to excelling at it, so I try to understand what makes it interesting to everyone personally.
