About Ava
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish. In July 2024, I will matriculate into medical school, continuing my education to become a physician. In my future career, I intend to employ my Spanish-speaking ability to expand my patient outreach with hopes of dismantling the health disparities that continue to plague our communities. With over six years of experience tutoring students at the grade school level and college students, I look forward to continuing to help students, including those with learning disabilities, overcome their academic obstacles.

All grade school and college students are invited to take a lesson with me, including students with learning disabilities. Utilizing my knowledge of neuroscience, our lessons will refine students' thinking patterns, allowing for efficient encoding of difficult subject matter. My lessons are mainly visual — for example, drawing out the steps of a reaction, sequentially mapping a metabolic pathway, drawing molecular structures, etc. Lessons will be further tailored to each student's learning needs, including strategies for students with learning disabilities.
